In Niger, the situation remains high-risk as funding gaps threaten essential protection services and mine action. With over 520,000 displaced persons and only 64% of the required financial resources secured, the capacity to maintain land restoration and food security initiatives is under significant pressure. Similarly, in Türkiye, UNHCR has expanded its multi-sectoral support network by adding six new NGO partners to address health and protection needs for refugees; however, the operation remains underfunded, with only 66% of the $1.01 billion requirement met. Simultaneously, acute climate-driven emergencies have necessitated rapid mobilization in South Asia. Severe flash floods and landslides in Nepal's Rasuwa and Nuwakot districts have resulted in significant casualties, with 18 people reported missing and approximately 60 homes destroyed.
